I'm a new pastor and my stories with Gods people are just starting to take shape. I met the author many years ago and I knew Gods hand was on his life. Anyway, I have read a lot of books by a lot of Pastors and none kept me engaged as much as this one

A.J. Latchison “pulls back the curtain” in his autobiographical Dear God letters to reveal his all too human alter-ego; the flaws, the fears and the failures that are a very real part of the man behind the ministry. And in baring himself, Latchison reminds us that it was not the image but the compassionate human being behind the image who, in spite of his flaws,his fears, and even his failures was able to minister to those who sought his help.
